Development Start


Hello, everybody! First of all, we would like to thank anyone reading this for taking the time to play our game.

We just started the development of this new game. This is a new experience for everyone of us, for it is our first 3D game. We will try our best to deliver a good experience to our players. On this first week of development, we started designing the water we will be using in our game's sea maps and deciding the palette and designs of most of the game's main assets. We arrived to the conclusion that a curious palette might help our game stand out from other games with a cool aesthetic look, and so we went for it.

Then we decided that the character could have some sort of cannon device that could help him pick up the trash debris floating in the water and  rescue trapped sea fauna. And so we started designing our garbage collector device. This are the designs we came up with:

By the time we had this concepts, we had also a functional prototype for our game's water, which ended up looking like this:

This was pretty much it for our first week of development. We also implemented some movement and trading mechanics, but we will be showcasing those in the near future. Stay tuned for updates like this one. Hope to see you all soon!
