6th Sprint Analysis
Hello again, turtle saviours! This week, we have some more updates for you. First of all, we would like to remind you that our Kickstarter campaign is still ongoing. At the time of me writing this post, we are at a 72% of our goal. We, from BabushaStudio, want to thank those of you who contributed towards our goal and encourage those of you who still haven't to lend us a hand. Any contribution is highly appreciated.
Now, let's jump into the updates. This week we began the implementation of the game's main menu. Right now, it looks something like this:
We also tackled a problem we had with our randomly generated maps, where items were generated in places they shouldn't be.
The implementation of the fish farm and Co-op UIs is coming together smoothly and should be ready to give you guys a sneak-peek for our next issue.
On other news, our array of fish models is finally complete! We have a range of fish that includes lion fish and even morays! Here you can see one of them, the tuna:
Finally, we have also designed our definitive UI sprites that will be pixel-art style like in our previous games.
That's it for this week's issue of our devlog. Stay tuned for more upcoming news and the soon-to-launch beta version of our game.
What a Waste!
Accompany us in this journey to help the planet.
